August 28, 1989 - Approval of street addresses for Chapel <br />Hill route 4 and Hillsborough route 2 by the BOCC. <br />Approximately half the County had been converted to <br />street addresses by this time. <br />11. November 27, 1989 - Approval of street addresses for <br />Chapel Hill routes 6 and 7 and Hillsborough route 4 by <br />the BOCC. <br />12. February 26, 1990 - Approval of street addresses for <br />Hillsborough route 5 and Durham route 2 by the BOCC. <br />13. May 17, 1990 - Contract negotiations underway between the <br />County and Southern Bell to provide Enhanced 911 service <br />for Orange County residents. This project tied in well <br />with street addressing and GIS planning for the County <br />and emphasized the need for logical, sequential house <br />numbering to fulfill the intent of the project. <br />14. May 29, 1990 - Approval of street addresses for Durham <br />routes 1 and 7 by the BOCC. <br />15. October 16, 1990 - Approval of street address for <br />Hillsborough routes 3 and 7 and Cedar Grove route 1 by <br />the BOCC. <br />16. December 11, 1990 - Approval of street addresses for <br />Hillsborough route 6 and Efland routes 1 and 2 by the <br />BOCC. <br />17. February 21, 1991 - Approval of street addresses for <br />Mebane routes 2,3,5,6 and 7 by the BOCC. This Public <br />Hearing brought to a conclusion the major project to <br />convert rural routes, box numbers and non- conforming <br />numbers to sequentially numbered street addresses.
