April 21, 1987 - Adoption of House Numbering Ordinance <br />by the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC). <br />2. April 21, 1987 - Approval of street addresses for Chapel <br />Hill routes 5 and 8 by the BOCC. <br />3. August 24, 1987 - Approval of street addresses for Chapel <br />Hill route 2 by the BOCC. <br />4. December 15, 1987 - Comments by Roscoe Reeve to the BOCC <br />concerning house numbering, GIS and E911, and their <br />inter - relationships. <br />5. February 22, 1988 - Approval of street addresses for <br />Rougemont routes 2 and 3 by the BOCC. with a commitment <br />to the County -wide project by the Board, expansion of <br />route conversions to include northern Orange County <br />routes simultaneously with southern routes commenced in <br />an effort to establish a blanketing pattern and to <br />formulate a time -frame for completion of the project. <br />6. November 1, 1988 - Approval of street addresses for <br />Hurdle Mills route 1 by the BOCC. <br />7. November 15, 1988 - Approval of street addresses for <br />Chapel Hill routes 11 and 15 by the BOCC after <br />considerable delay as a result of opposition by a number <br />of Carrboro ETJ residents who lived on route 11 with town <br />addresses. House numbering brochures were produced and <br />mailed with the pre - assignment package; the change <br />notification letter was enhanced with this mail -out, both <br />as results of requests by commissioners. <br />8. February 27, 1989 - Approval of street addresses for <br />Chapel Hill routes 1 and 13, and Hillsborough route 1, by <br />
