The staff consist of 11 Custodians <br />and one Custodial Supervisor. They clean a total of 192,673 <br />square feet of space. Orange County facilities are spread <br />throughout the County and vary in size, function, traffic <br />pattern, different hours and different occupants. Custodial <br />Staff provides different levels of service for different <br />buildings as illustrated in the "Custodial Services <br />Schedule." Each facility is unique and each has its' own <br />particular cleaning needs. <br />In an attempt to compare the cost for in -house custodial <br />services and contract services, I researched what some other <br />local governments are paying for routine contract custodial <br />services and figured cost on a per square foot basis.
