Margaret Lane <br />Hillsborough, N.C. 27278 <br />Chapel Hill <br />Dear Mr. Link: <br />Chatham County <br />Durham Thank you for supporting Phase II of the Area Water Supply Monitoring Project. The <br />purpose of the Project continues to be expanding our knowledge about the types and <br />Hillsborough quantities of pollutants in the Triangle Area's water supplies and measuring long -term <br />trends in water quality. <br />Orange County <br />Over the next three years, the Project will continue its monitoring of 34 stream and <br />OWASA lake sites, as well as conduct stormwater event and pesticide studies. The Steering <br />Pittsboro Committee is happy to report that it has been able to expand the coverage of the study <br />and to hold the cost of the Project constant. <br />Raleigh I have attached a copy of the fully executed Interlocal Agreement as well as a list and <br />Sanford map of the monitoring sites.
