8 <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT RENCHER STREET BLOCK GRANT <br />GRANT PROJECT ORDINANCE <br />Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners that pursuant to <br />Section 13.2 of Chapter 159 of the General Statutes of North <br />Carolina, the following grant project is hereby adopted. <br />Section 1. The project authorized is the Community <br />Development project as described in the work <br />statement contained in the grant agreement <br />88 -C -7730 between this unit and the Department <br />of Natural Resources and Community Development. <br />This project is more familiarly known as the <br />Rencher Street Community Development Project. <br />Section 2. The officers of the County are hereby directed to <br />proceed with the grant project within the grant <br />document, the rules and regulations of the North <br />Carolina Department of Human Resources and the <br />budget contained herein. <br />Section 3. The following revenues are anticipated to be <br />available to complete this project: <br />Intergovernmental - Community <br />Development Block Grant $ 600,000 <br />Transfer from.Other Funds 125,000 <br />Program Income 300 <br />Total Revenue $ 725,300 <br />Section 4. The following amounts are appropriated for,this <br />project: <br />Rencher Street Grant Project $ 725,300 <br />Section 5. This ordinance supersedes all previous Community <br />Devlopment Rencher Street Grant Project <br />ordinances. <br />Section 6. The finance officer is hereby directed to <br />maintain within the Community Development Fund <br />sufficient specific detailed accounting records <br />to provide the accounting records to provide the <br />accounting to the grantor agency required by the <br />grant agreement and federal and state <br />regulations. <br />
