2 <br />(4) The Orange County CAT program has entered into several short <br />term lease agreements thereby increasing their anticipated <br />revenues. These agreements included Orange Enterprises - an <br />agreement to provide part -time drivers ($4,320); other <br />miscellaneous agreements - to provide vehicles ($5,000); and, <br />Orange County Department of Social Services - an agreement to <br />provide Medicaid medical contract trips, transportation for <br />summer camp enrollees, and JOSS participants transportation <br />($8,500). No additional County dollars will be needed in order <br />to receive these revenues. <br />(5) The Orange County Department of Social Services has received <br />notification of additional Emergency Food and Shelter funds. <br />These additional monies total $2,000. No additional County <br />match is required for the receipt of these funds. <br />(6) The 1990 --91 approved budget included, in the Miscellaneous <br />appropriation, an allocation for the employee merit pay <br />system ($293,000) as well as an allocation for employee vacation <br />buyback ($35,000). This amendment will allocate these funds to <br />each function within the General Fund. <br />(7) This amendment will budget additional revenues received in <br />1990 -91 in the Efland Sewer Operating Fund. <br />(8) During the 1990 --91 fiscal year, leaking underground storage <br />tanks in the Cedar Grove township contaminated water supplies <br />for some residents. During this period, Orange County Emergency <br />Management Services provided safe water to these residents, and <br />in turn, the State Department of Environment, Health and Natural <br />Resources agreed to reimburse us for our costs associated with <br />alleviating this problem. This amendment will budget for the <br />receipt of these funds. <br />(9) Orange County receives money <br />disposal fee collections. This <br />receipt of $45,000 in scrap <br />from the State for scrap tire <br />hese funds are passed on <br />o be used in association with the <br />amendment will budget for the <br />tire disposal fees. <br />(10) Orange County has received a CDSG grant of $175,000 for the <br />Chestnut Oaks subdivision project. The County is providing <br />a $25,000 match for this grant. The associated project <br />ordinance is included elsewhere in this agenda. This match is <br />included in the 1990 -91 FY Miscellaneous function appropriation <br />and should be transferred to the Transfers to Other Funds <br />function appropriation. This amendment will make the necessary <br />transfer. <br />
