L <br />2 f <br />Southern may cancel the display due to inclement weather; however <br />the event would be rescheduled to July 5 or another date in 1991. Total <br />additional expenses as a result of the reschedule would not exceed $600, <br />or a total of $200 per locality. <br />The County and the Towns are responsible for all permits, licenses <br />and approvals required. <br />The County and Towns shall be responsible for maintaining a "safe <br />zone" (600''in all directions) around the display area. <br />RECOMMENDATION: The Manager recommends approval of the proposed <br />contract jointly with the Town of Chapel Hill and the Town of Carrboro <br />with Southern International Fireworks International, Inc.; County share <br />not to exceed $3,000; and authorize the Chair to sign on behalf of the <br />Board. <br />
