14 <br />CHESTNUT OAKS <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT <br />GRANT PROJECT ORDINANCE <br />Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners that pursuant to <br />Section 13.2 of Chapter 159 of the General Statutes of North <br />Carolina, the following grant project is hereby adopted. <br />Section 1. The project authorized is the Community <br />Development project as described in the work <br />statement contained in the grant agreement <br />90 -C -8081 between this unit and the Department of <br />Natural Resources and Community Development. <br />This project is more familiarly known as the <br />Chestnut Oaks Subdivision Community Development <br />Project. <br />Section 2. The officers of the County are hereby directed to <br />proceed with the grant project within the grant <br />document, the rules and regulations of the North <br />Carolina Department of Human Resources and the <br />budget contained herein. <br />Section 3. The following revenues are anticipated to be <br />available to complete this project: <br />Intergovernmental - Community <br />Development Block Grant $ 175,000 <br />Transfer from General Fund 25,000 <br />Total Revenue $ 200,000 <br />Section 4. The following amounts are appropriated for this <br />project: <br />Chestnut Oaks Grant Project $ 200,000 <br />Section S. The finance officer is hereby directed to <br />maintain within the Community Development Fund <br />sufficient specific detailed accounting records <br />to provide the accounting records to provide the <br />accounting to the grantor agency required by the <br />grant agreement and federal and state <br />regulations. <br />M <br />
