11 <br />10 <br />STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE <br />DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION <br />and <br />[oun [k ePKeTi 17 <br />AGREEMENT <br />FOR REIMBURSABLE WORK <br />THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this the day of <br />, 19 by and between the Department of Transporta- <br />tion, hereinafter sometimes referred to as the Department, and <br />Orange County, hereinafter sometimes referred to as the party of <br />the second part: <br />W I T N E S S E T H <br />THAT WHEREAS, the party of the second part has requested the <br />Department to perform work hereinafter described which the <br />Department has agreed to do in consideration of the actual cost <br />incurred. <br />i <br />1. The Department of Transportation shall perform the <br />following work: <br />Construct Gemena Road and Habitat Circle in the <br />Chestnut Oaks Habitat for Humanity Housing Project, <br />Orange County. The roads will be constructed to <br />minimum NCDOT subdivision standards. <br />The Department is constructing these roads for Orange <br />County and all additions to State Highway System <br />requirements must be met before they are accepted for <br />DOT maintenance. <br />Orange County's Engineer will have the right to review <br />bids prior to award of contract. <br />2. The Department shall furnish all of the necessary <br />personnel, labor, equipment and material for the <br />performance of said work. <br />3. As a condition for the performance of said work, the <br />party of the second part shall reimburse the Department <br />of Transportation monthly upon receipt of an invoice <br />showing the cost incurred. Payment shall be due upon <br />receipt of an invoice. <br />4. The estimated cost for the performance of said work is <br />$175,000. Invoice(s) shall be submitted monthly on the <br />basis of total cost incurred. <br />5. This agreement is entered into and executed by the <br />State Highway Administrator on behalf of the Department <br />
