Following the Board of Commissioners' <br />approval, at the April 16th meeting, of the consolidated contract <br />with the Department of Environment, Health and Natural Resources, <br />the Orange County Health Department received notice of additional <br />funding for the nutrition program which was inadvertently omitted <br />from the original package from the State. <br />BACKGROUND: The attached amendment allocates one thousand, eight hundred and <br />twenty dollars ($1,820.00) to the Orange County Health Department <br />based on an.estimated caseload requiring 52 hours of service. <br />The allocated amount ($1,820.00) exceeds the amount of grant <br />revenue forecasted in the department's proposed budget by two <br />hundred eighty dollars ($280.00). <br />RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve the contract amendment, accept the funds, and adjust <br />the Health Department budget accordingly. <br />
