Durham - 688 -7331 <br />PURPOSE: To recognize the service of three retiring Commission <br />for Women members. <br />BACKGROUND: Ann Loeb and Miriam Saxon have both served on the <br />Commission for Women for six years. Ann McPherson has served for <br />nine years. During this time they have each served as Chair of <br />the Commission and have chaired or served on numerous committees. <br />These resolutions are being presented to show appreciation for <br />their leadership, service and support for the Commission for <br />Women; and their efforts on behalf of women in Orange County. <br />RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve the resolutions and present to each <br />recipient, along with the plaques provided. <br />1 <br />
