VJ� <br />r) <br />DESCRIPTION OF THE NEIGHBORHOOD <br />This property is located at the intersection of Highway 54 <br />West and White Cross Road, ( S.R. 1952 ). The property is in <br />the center of one of Orange County's designated rural <br />activity nodes. <br />Growth in this area is expected to continue over the coming <br />years. According to the North Carolina Department of <br />Transportation, traffic count on Highway 54 is about eight <br />thousand, four- hundred cars per day, 1989 count . <br />The subject property lies outside of the OWASA University <br />Lake watershed critical area. It is also outside of the Cane <br />Creek Reservoir Watershed. No adverse environmental impacts <br />are expected as a result of the approval of this rezoning. <br />
