011.1 <br />Letters have been submitted from the Orange County <br />Sheriff's Department, Orange County EMS, and Orange <br />-qrove Fire Department indicating that services can be <br />provided. <br />The North Carolina Department of Transportation has <br />indicated they have reviewed the rezoning proposal and <br />recommend approval. If proposed plans change, a new <br />driveway permit must be applied for. The latest <br />traffic information on NC 54 indicated 8200 trips per <br />day in 1988. <br />The applicant has indicated there are suitable soils <br />for a septic disposal system on the northernmost part <br />of the property proposed to be zoned LC -1. This <br />information has been confirmed in the attached letter <br />from the Health Department. <br />RECOMMENDATION: The Planning Staff recommends approval of the rezoning <br />request. <br />
