New Hope Corridor Open Space Master Plan <br />D.I. Implementation Recommendations <br />A. Master Plan Approval <br />It is recommended that each of the jurisdictions that commissioned the Master Plan <br />adopt the Master Plan as soon as reasonably possible. <br />B. Advisory Committee Formation and Operation <br />• An official, joint, permanent New Hope Corridor Open Space Advisory <br />Committee should be established. <br />• The Committee would be charged with the oversight responsibility for the <br />corridor's future; specifically, the Committee would have the following <br />functions: <br />1. To monitor and advise concerning progress that is made by the appropriate <br />jurisdictions through their operating agencies in carrying out the <br />recommendations of the New Hope Corridor Open Space Master Plan; <br />2. To review and make recommendations concerning those portions of annual <br />budgets of operating agencies that relate to the corridor; <br />3. To review and make recommendations concerning any development or <br />infrastructure proposals, both public and private, that affect the corridor; <br />4. To meet at least quarterly; <br />S. To report to the four governing bodies; and <br />6. To nurture and foster citizen involvement in preservation and acquisition <br />of the corridor. <br />58 <br />
