Box 8181
Hillsborough, NC 27278
Ladies and Gentlemen;
I am writing to protest the proposed change of address for
residents of the Stoneridge /Sedgefield subdivisions. Given the
advent of computers, everything you wish to accomplish can be
programmed in software. Even telephone switches can be
programmed to give a physical map location from the input of a
phone number.
While assigning numbers to rural route post boxes makes
sense, changing established street addresses is an unnecessary
inconvenience. It will cost a lot more in the aggregate for all
of us to change our address on every legal document, then it will
for the county to use comVen achieve the desired goal. I
am very opposed to the prn.
ncerely,
S. S urwit, Ph.D.
Professor
204 Forest Ridge Drive
Chapel Hill, 27514
