No increase in staff /operating expenditures <br />will result from the inventory project. <br />The Town of Chapel Hill also received a grant to <br />complete survey work within the corporate limits. <br />The Town and the County are hopeful of employing the <br />same consultant and beginning the project by mid - <br />July, 1991. The State Historic Preservation Office <br />has supplied a list of interested consultants and <br />approved a draft Request for Proposals. Acceptance <br />of the grant and approval of the RFP would enable <br />the Administration to recommend a consultant at the <br />Board's June 25, 1991 meeting and begin the project <br />on schedule. <br />RECOMMENDATION: The Administration recommends that the County <br />Manager be authorized to sign the Memorandum of <br />Agreement, provide certification of matching <br />funds, and send the Request for Proposals to <br />prospective consultants. <br />
