I <br />V <br />3 <br />County on radio propagation from each of the two current sites. Terrain factors <br />are reported to be the primary cause of poor radio coverage in the County. The <br />computer simulation of the area surrounding the Eno Mountain site clearly <br />illustrates the terrain which is affecting radio propagation. <br />Computer simulation of Orange County terrain within a square, <br />ten miles per side, centered on the Eno Mountain base station site. <br />Those areas which are now shadowed by terrain at the fire and rescue <br />frequencies will be determined. The relative importance of these shadowed areas <br />will then be evaluated in consultation with your office.
