2 <br />RF Projects will prepare technical specifications (Phase III) from <br />which to bid upgrades deemed necessary as a result of their analysis of <br />existing conditions. <br />Following receipt of bids for the equipment, RF Projects will <br />assist in the technical evaluation of bid responses (Phase IV). <br />Phase V calls for a performance evaluation following the system <br />changes,'as well as a final report detailing the changes in equipment <br />and system performance. <br />It is estimated that this work can be accomplished in approximately 20 <br />weeks (see Attachment B), at a total cost of $11,900 (see <br />Attachment C). Funding for this project is included in the Capital <br />Improvements Program. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Approve a contract with RF Projects for communications <br />system coverage evaluation and system upgrade for a sum of $11,900; and <br />authorize the Chair to sign on behalf of the Board. <br />
