State Building Code Council to Allow <br />Advanced Water Saving Fixtures under the N.C. State <br />Building Code <br />DATE: April 10, 1991 <br />COPIES: Carrboro Board of Aldermen <br />------------------------------------------------------------------- <br />At my request, the Carrboro Board,of Aldermen at its meeting held <br />on March 26, 1991, adopted the attached resolution endorsing water <br />saving devices and asking for approval by the North Carolina <br />Building Code Council. <br />This resolution requests your support for the continued development <br />of advanced water saving fixtures and retrofit devices in old and <br />new construction in the State of North Carolina. In addition, the <br />resolution requests asks that you join with other local <br />jurisdictions in asking the N.C. State Building Code Council to <br />allow advanced water saving fixtures for reducing water consumption <br />to be used in existing and newly constructed buildings and homes <br />under the N.C. State Building Code. <br />The Town of Carrboro requests that you consider offering your <br />support in this matter in order that we might preserve the <br />environment and conserve our water resources. <br />Thank you for your consideration. <br />
