P.0, Box 337 <br />1 301 West Main Street <br />J Carrboro, North Carolina 27510 <br />919 968 -7700 (919) 942.8541 <br />TOWN OF CARRBORO <br />MEMORANDUM <br />TO: Orange County Board of Commissioners <br />Chapel Hill Town Council <br />FROM: Jay Bryan, Member, Carrboro Board of Aldermen <br />SUBJECT: Resolution Endorsing Water Saving Devices and Requesting <br />OWASA to Adopt Certain Water Conservation Policies <br />DATE: April 10, 1991 <br />COPIES: Carrboro Board of Aldermen <br />At my request, the Carrboro Board of Aldermen at its meeting on <br />March 26, 1991, adopted the attached resolution endorsing water <br />saving devices and requesting OWASA to adopt certain water <br />conservation policies. <br />The resolution requests that OWASA continue developing policies and <br />f measures to conserve the water supply, and requests your support in <br />asking OWASA to examine its policies for reducing water consumption <br />and to consider a number of suggestions to accomplish this end. <br />The Town of Carrboro would like to request that you consider <br />adopting similar resolutions in order that we might conserve our <br />water resources. <br />Thank you for your consideration. <br />Attachment <br />2, <br />r <br />
