1 <br />Robert Edward Seymour <br />May 2, 1991 <br />Mr. John Link, Jr. <br />Orange County Manager <br />Box 8181 <br />Hillsborough, N.C. 27278 <br />Dear John; <br />This is to formally reaffirm the commitment <br />made by the Funding Subcommittee of the Task Force <br />on the Southern Orange Senior Center Space to raise <br />funds for the proposed new Chapel Hill Senior Center. <br />Specifically, we would have a fundraising campaign <br />to secure the necessary money, material and labor <br />to upfit the new space and to provide the additional <br />money necessary to lease the balance of the Galleria <br />space. <br />On May 7th the funding subcommittee, now to <br />be re -named as "The Founders," will be enlarging <br />its number of participants and organizing to begin <br />development effortg"as soon as the new account is <br />available to receive funds. We are also planning <br />an Open House at the Galleria on Sunday, May 19th, <br />from 2 unto 4 in order for-the public at large to <br />see the location and dream with us about what will <br />emerge there.
