5(0 <br />Page Two <br />Resolution No. 16/90 -91 <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CARRBORO BOARD OF <br />ALDERMEN THAT: <br />Section 1. The Board believes that the policy statements <br />outlined by the RCSC in the Conceptual Guidelines for the-Rural <br />Buffer are sound, and if implemented, would promote the fundamental <br />objectives of the Joint Planning Agreement and Joint Planning Area <br />Land Use Plan. <br />Section 2. The Board endorses the development options for the <br />Rural Buf f er in the Conceptual Guidelines f or the Rural Buf f er with <br />the changes as proposed by the Rural Character Study Committee. <br />Section 3. The Board adopts the amendments to the Joint <br />Planning Area Land Use Plan as proposed in the version dated <br />October 16, 1990. <br />Section 4. The Board adopts the amendments to the Joint <br />Planning Agreement as proposed in the version dated October 16, <br />1990. <br />Section 5. The Board authorizes submittal of this resolution <br />to the Orange County Board of Commissioners and the Chapel Hill <br />Town Council.- <br />Section 6.
