PROPOSED CHANGES TO THE JOINT PLANNING AGREEMENT <br />adopted November 2, 1987. <br />(Also herein referenced as Appendix A, Joint Planning - <br />Area Land Use Plan). <br />ARTICLE I Section 1.2 G (Page 3, "Rural Buffer") <br />...This area is further defined as being a low- density area <br />consisting primarily of single - family homes situated on lots <br />having an average lot size of 1.92 acres or greater, or lots <br />within planned developments that provide 40 -80% open space <br />with a density of between 0.5 and 0.84 units per acre. The <br />Rural Buffer is further defined as land which, although <br />adjacent to an Urban or Transition Area, is rural in <br />character and which will remain rural, contain low- density <br />residential uses, and not require urban services (public <br />utilities and other Town services), with exception only in <br />the case of "Rural Village" planned developments as defined <br />in the Orange County Zoning Ordinance, which shall be <br />permitted only in a predefined corridor in close proximity to <br />current service areas. <br />END OF AMENDMENTS TO THE JOINT PLANNING AGREEMENT <br />
