This <br />special allocation will be used to support the Minority <br />Involvement Project which Planned Parenthood coordinates. <br />This amendment will transfer the approved allocation from the <br />Contingency account. <br />(2) At the December 18, 1990 meeting, the Board of Commissioners <br />approved a the Health Department's application for State <br />Maternal Care Coordination funds. At this meeting, a <br />Maternal Care Coordination position was approved. The <br />continuation of this position is contingent upon the County's <br />receipt of Medicaid revenue sufficient to cover the cost of <br />the position. The application has been approved by the State; <br />therefore, the establishment of this program and the associated <br />position need to be approved by the Commissioners. No County <br />funds are required for this program. <br />(3) The Orange County Department of Social Services has received <br />notification of a reallocation of state Child Day Care funds. <br />This reallocation, received in March, totals $8,838. No <br />additional County match is required for the receipt of these <br />funds. <br />(4) The Orange County Department of Social Services has been awarded <br />a Special Adult and Children Empowered Support (ACES) Program <br />grant from the State.
