Excellent service should be
provided to the airport together with frequent, convenient peak hour service to all major employment
clusters, including downtown Raleigh and Durham, the RTP, universities and hospitals.
In some locations, people mover systems may be planned and built, further increasing access to the
fixed guideway system. For example, the people mover system which is under consideration to link
the new Centennial Campus at NCSU with the existing campus, crosses the NCRR right of way.
