On three occasions, after the application <br />has been received, the person let from six months to one year and in one <br />case two years lapse before actually paying for and receiving a license. <br />We do not have in the ordinance a timeframe specified before a person <br />would need to reapply. on every applicant the Sheriff is required to do <br />an investigative report. I recommend that the Ordinance be amended to <br />indicate that "failure to pay the fees within sixty days will cause the <br />permit approval to lapse and will require reapplication before a permit <br />can be issued." This statement would need to be added to Section 1 -3(E) <br />and Section 1-4(F). <br />RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve the proposed amendment to Section 1 -3(E) and <br />Section 1 -4(F) of the Massage Ordinance. <br />
