Orange county Department on Aging <br />In support of its Human Services Transportation programs, <br />Orange County endorses the requests of the Department on <br />Aging as contained on pages PTR -10, PTR -26, PTR -30, and <br />PTR -32 of the 1991 -97 TIP. <br />4. Stormwater Best Management Practices (BMPs) <br />On April 1, 1991, the County Commissioners voted to <br />request that stormwater BMPs be required along the <br />Interstate Highway corridors in orange County which <br />traverse watersheds classified as WS -III or higher. <br />5. Funding for the Triangle Transit Authority <br />Orange County - wholeheartedly endorses the concept and <br />mission of the Triangle Transit Authority and requests a <br />continued state commitment for this purpose. <br />The Board feels that these projects would address more <br />pressing needs in Orange County than the projects recommended <br />for removal.
