In October, 1989 the Literacy <br />Council submitted and presented a report to the Board <br />highlighting activities and upcoming initiatives. <br />The Literacy Council also presented a report to the County <br />Human Services Advisory Commission. In late Summer 1990 the <br />Manager's Office arranged a shared office space agreement <br />between Durham Technical Community College G.E.D. program and <br />the Literacy Council in the County leased Sawyer Building, <br />Hillsborough. <br />Ruth Royster, Director, Literacy Council will present report. <br />
