n <br />A RESOLUTION REQUESTING A LOCAL BILL AUTHORIZING AN ENTERTAINMENT <br />TAX (91- 3- 4/R -4) <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Chapel Hill that the <br />Council hereby requests the Senators and <br />representing Chapel Hill Representatives areas to introduce and to support a local <br />bill authorizing an entertainment tax of up to $1 per paid ticket <br />for admissions to entertainment and sports events in facilities <br />with 15,000 or more seats in the Town of Chapel Hill, excluding <br />high school events in such facilities. <br />This the 4th day of March, 1991. <br />
