The Group submitted <br />preliminary recommendations on November 9, 1989. <br />Their primary mission was to study and make <br />recommendations on the appropriate types and locations <br />of new businesses to our county. As part of a <br />strategic planning effort, they approached their task <br />by looking at all possibilities, questioning the <br />status quo, and understanding that their perspective <br />should be economic development focused. <br />The Report represents 15 months of discussion and was <br />unanimously adopted by both the Target Advisory Group <br />and the Economic Development Commission. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Acceptance of the report and use of its <br />recommendations, along with others, in future public <br />policy decisions. <br />
