3 <br />Volunteer Program for twelve months and to certify to the federal <br />government the willingness of the County to assure a minimum of 30% in <br />cash, goods, and services as the non - federal share in support of the <br />program. <br />B. RENCHER STREET CDBG FINANCIAL STATUS UPDATE <br />The Board received as information a financial status update <br />on the Rencher Street project. Total expenditure to date is $514,850. <br />Rehabilitation work has been completed on three houses and five are <br />under rehabilitation. A total of 15 houses have been completed since <br />program inception. <br />VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br />VI. RESOLUTIONS PROCLAMATIONS <br />A. PROCLAMATION FOR SENIOR GAMES <br />Motion was made by Commissioner Gordon, seconded by <br />Commissioner Insko to approve the Proclamation for Senior Games as <br />stated below: <br />E 9c%Z4 moo` i;10 to) ;J <br />WHEREAS, According to recent population figures, there are almost <br />15,000 persons over 55 years of age in Orange County, and <br />WHEREAS, Orange County is concerned about the health, fitness, and <br />social well -being of its older adult population, and <br />WHEREAS, Orange County Senior Games provides a special opportunity for <br />older adults to grow positively in the areas of health, <br />fitness,and social well - being, and <br />WHEREAS, Orange County would like to encourage local business and <br />resident support and participation from county residents age <br />55 and older; <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT PROCLAIMED, that the Orange County Board <br />of Commissioners declares April 22 -27, 1991, as Orange County <br />Senior Games Events Days and encourages citizens age 55 and <br />over to participate. <br />VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br />B.
