Total proposed grant is $79,264, with $37,775 <br />from Orange County, $12,277 from Chapel Hill, and $900 from Carrboro. <br />BACKGROUND: <br />This is a yearly Continuation Application covering volunteer services <br />provided by 480 retirees serving approximately 58,500 hours for 55 <br />non - profit organizations in Orange County. The RSVP objectives will <br />include recruiting, placing, and recognizing these volunteers. <br />Impact: There would be no major increase in County match funds for <br />the continuation of the program next year, other than RSVP staff merits <br />and cost of living increases. <br />RECOMMENDATION(S): <br />Approve RSVP resolution, application, and agreement and authorize Chair <br />to sign application and Notice of Grant Award when received. <br />
