6 <br />ORANGE COUNTY PROPOSED BOND REFERENDUM <br />Citizens' Advisory Committee Recommendations <br />Highest Priority: These items must be included in a bond referendum election: <br />Chapel Hill /Carrboro School Projects. <br />Orange County School Projects (including the new elemente-y school proposed <br />ror year 6 of the Capital Improvements Program.) <br />Northern Orange County Reservoir Land Acquisition. <br />Rank Order of Other Projects Considered Desirable for a Bond Election. <br />1. County Building (Tax and Records Building) <br />2. 911 Enhancement (Computer Aided Dispatch and Remapping Equipment) <br />Swimming Pools at each High School <br />3. Southern Human Services Complex <br />4. Parks and Recreation <br />5. Central Human Services Complex & Southern Human Services Complex <br />6. Public Works Facilities <br />7. Landfill Land Acquisition <br />8. Agriculture Center <br />Animal Shelter Expansion <br />Total Amount Recommended for the Bond Referendum Projects: $20 - 30 Million. <br />R <br />
