I 2 Following completion and presentation of the study, the Board the Board may approve the study, in whole or in part, or may modify the study's recommendations prior to implementation. In response to comments and'questions regarding the Facilities Study, County Campus Parking and potential uses for the Court Street Annex, the following amendment to the recommended CIP is proposed: County Campus Parking funds will address specific improvements to the existing parking area between the Sheriff's office and the Courthouse. Improvements include, but are not limited to, grading and demarcation of parking spaces. These improvements are necessary for compliance with the zoning requirements as they apply to the new construction. All other funds in the Court Street Annex project and the County Campus Parking Project have been moved to a new fund entitled Facilities Improvement Reserve. These funds will support the efforts to update our assessment of facilities and will provide some funding to address needs identified as a result of the updated plan. The Court Facilities Project remains funded at $30,000 to address specific short -term needs as identified by the Court Facilities Needs Committee. RECOMMENDATION: Recommend 1991 -96 CIP, as presented, for Public Hearing on March 20, with the exception of Court Street Annex and County Campus Parking.
