2 <br />NORTH CAROLINA <br />THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into the day of <br />, 1991 by and between Orange County, North Carolina, 109 Court <br />Street, Hillsborough, North Carolina, hereinafter referred to as <br />"County" and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for <br />and on behalf of its Small Business and Technology Development Center, <br />4509 Creedmoor Road, Suite 201, Raleigh, North Carolina 27612, <br />hereinafter referred to as the "SBTDC ". <br />WHEREAS, the establishment of the Orange County SBTDC is <br />consistent with Challenge 5 as detailed in the Orange County Economic <br />Development Strategic Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, the establishment of an Orange County SBTDC, the <br />development of more comprehensive small business information, and a <br />public awareness and educational program on the services available to <br />small business, is an integral part of meeting the objectives <br />specified in the Orange County Economic Development Strategic Plan; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Orange County Economic Development Commission, <br />hereinafter referred to as the EDC, has endorsed the Orange County <br />SBTDC concept and has encouraged the County's support, financial and <br />otherwise; and <br />S <br />
