The additional 1.5 acres will expand the site for <br />the project and more importantly add open space for park <br />activities. The area is identified on the attached map. <br />The property has been appraised with an estimated fair market <br />value of $10,000. Survey and appropriate legal /deed <br />information have been completed. The owners have agreed to <br />sell property for the fair market value. <br />RECOMMENDATXON(S): Approve acquisition of 1.5 acre parcel of land for the <br />Efland- Cheeks Community Center and Park at the fair <br />market value of $10,000 and authorize County Attorney <br />to complete purchase. <br />
