The current quoted <br />lease price per square foot at Carr Mill Mall is $13.00. <br />The Economic Development Commission staff is presently conducting a <br />survey of space available for leasing and associated per square foot <br />costs. The results of their survey thus far indicate the following: <br />1. The quoted per square foot rate in the Carrboro area is <br />$13 -$15. (The largest space identified on the Economic <br />Development survey is 2,000 square feet. Our needs dictate a <br />minimum of 51500.) <br />2. The quoted per square foot rate in the Chapel Hill area is <br />$12.50 - $16.50. <br />3. These rates do not include either cleaning service <br />or utilities. <br />
