M E M O R A N D U M <br /> TO: ORANGE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> ORANGE COUNTY PLANNING BOARD <br /> ORANGE COUNTY MANAGER <br /> FROM: ORANGE COUNTY PLANNING STAFF <br /> RE: CP-1-91, AYERS AND HARRIS <br /> DATE: FEBRUARY 19, 1991 <br /> GENERAL DESCRIPTION <br /> The property in question is located in Hillsborough Township, <br /> and is known as Lot 13B, Block B of Hillsborough Township Tax <br /> Map 49 . The parcel contains 32 . 76 acres and is located <br /> southeast of the intersection of I-40 and Old Chapel Hill- <br /> Hillsborough Road. The property fronts on both Interstate 40 <br /> and Old Chapel Hill-Hillsborough Road (Old 86) . <br /> The amendment proposal has been submitted by property owners <br /> Robert Ayers and Harold Harris . The amendment requests a <br /> change in classification for this property on the <br /> Hillsborough and Chapel Hill Township components of the <br /> Orange County Comprehensive Plan, Land Use Element. The <br /> current classification is Rural Residential. The proposed <br /> classification is Commercial Transition Activity Node and Ten <br /> Year Transition. <br /> APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS <br /> Application requirements for an amendment to the Orange <br /> County Comprehensive Plan are contained in Articles 2 and 20 <br /> of the Orange County Zoning Ordinance. These requirements <br /> and information supplied by the applicant (shown in bold) is <br /> presented below. <br /> 1 .
