lit; <br /> voluntary basis only by the property owner. <br /> Section 3.3 Preparation of Designation Re ort <br /> The Planning and Inspections Department shall, within <br /> 30-days of the receipt of an application, make or cause to be <br /> made an investigation and report on the historic, <br /> architectural, archaeological or cultural significance of the <br /> building, structure, site, area or object proposed for <br /> designation. The 30-day period may be extended with the <br /> consent of the applicant. Such report shall include the <br /> following:. <br /> 1. The name and address of the current property owner. <br /> 2. A map showing the location of the property, <br /> including any buildings and appurtenant features. <br /> 3 . Photographs that clearly depict the building, <br /> structure, site, area or object proposed for <br /> designation, including facades, details, and siting. <br /> 4 . An assessment of the significance of the site or <br /> structure in terms of its historical, prehistorical, <br /> architectural, or cultural importance. The <br /> assessment should include an architectural or <br /> archaeological description and a historical <br /> discussion of the site or structure, including the <br /> date of construction and any later alterations. <br /> The enabling legislation requires that the Commission <br /> make or cause to be made an investigation and report on the <br /> significance of the building or buildings proposed for <br /> designation (G.8.160A-400.6) . The Planning & Inspections <br /> Department would have responsibility for preparation of the <br /> report. <br /> section 3.4 Initial Consideration of Designation Re ort by <br /> commission <br /> The Planning and Inspection Department shall submit the <br /> application for historic landmark designation and <br /> accompanying designation report to the Commission at the <br /> first regular meeting after the expiration of the 30-day <br /> period specified in Section 3.3 or any extension thereof. <br /> Prior to the meeting of the Commission at which the <br /> application and report will be considered, written notice <br /> shall be sent by certified mail to the affected property <br /> owner and all adjacent owners not less than seven (7) days <br /> before the meeting date.
