R + <br /> 14 ; <br /> recommendation is consistent with the provisions of G.8.160A- <br /> 400.4 and Article 20.7 of the Zoning Ordinance. <br /> Section 2.9 Commission• Action Subsequent to Public Hearinc <br /> Upon receipt of the Planning Board recommendation, the <br /> Commission shall prepare and submit to the Board of <br /> Commissioners a recommendation concerning the disposition of <br /> the proposed ordinance. The Commission may recommend: <br /> 1. Approval of the designation as proposed; <br /> 2. Approval of the designation subject to conditions; <br /> or <br /> 3 . Denial of the designation. <br /> If the Commission recommends approval of the historic <br /> district designation, it shall include the recommendation of <br /> the Planning Board and the minutes of the meeting at which <br /> the designation was considered by the Commission. <br /> Referral of the proposal to the Commission for <br /> recommendation is consistent with the provisions of G.S.160A- <br /> 400.4. <br /> Section 2.10 Board Action Subsequent.to Public Hearing <br /> Upon complying with the historic district designation <br /> procedures set forth above, the Board of Commissioners may <br /> consider the adoption and from time to time the amendment or <br /> repeal of an ordinance designating a historic district. <br /> However, the Board of Commissioners shall not consider <br /> enactment of a proposed ordinance until 60 days after the <br /> date of the public hearing or until the Commission prepares <br /> its recommendation, whichever comes first. The Board of <br /> Commissioners may: <br /> 1. Approve the designation as proposed; <br /> 2 . Approve the designation subject to conditions; or <br /> 3 . Deny the designation. <br /> Upon the establishment of a historic district, its <br /> boundaries shall be shown on the official Orange County <br /> Zoning Atlas, and the use and development of any land or <br /> structure within a historic district shall comply with use <br /> regulations and dimensional requirements applicable to the <br /> underlying zoning district. For each building, structure, <br /> site, area or object located in the historic district, the <br /> waiting period set forth in Section 4.9 of this ordinance <br /> shall be observed prior to its demolition. <br /> Following the public hearing, and upon receipt of the <br />
