Article 4.3 Permitted Uses (Camp /Retreat centers) <br />This item was presented to amend ARTICLE 4.3 <br />PERMITTED USE TABLE by adding "Camp /Retreat Centers" as a use <br />permitted in the Rural Buffer (RB), Agricultural - Residential (AR), <br />and Rural Residential (R -1) zoning districts following the approval <br />and issuance of a Class B Special Use Permit. <br />e. Article 8.8 Special Uses (Camp /Retreat Centers) <br />This item was presented to amend ARTICLE 8.8 <br />regulations governing individual special uses by adding a rew <br />Article 8.8.5 Camp /Retreat Center which sets forth specific site <br />plan and development standards applicable to camp /retreat centers. <br />f. Article -22 Definitions (Camp /Retreat Centers) <br />This item, was presented to amend ARTICLE 22 <br />DEFINITIONS by adding the definitions of "camp" and "retreat <br />center ". <br />THERE WERE NO QUESTIONS OR COMMENTS FROM THE BOARD OF <br />COMMISSIONERS, THE PLANNING BOARD OR CITIZENS. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Halkiotis,�seconded by <br />Commissioner Insko, to refer these matters to the Planning Bo rd <br />for recommendation to be returned to the Board of Commissioners no <br />sooner than February 4, 1990. <br />VOTE: UNANIMOUS - <br />4. Subdivision Regulations Text Amendments <br />a. Section III- D--2 -e Application Requirements <br />This•presentation was made by Mary Scearbo. This item <br />was presented to amend SECTION III -D -2 -e APPLICATION REQUIREME14TS <br />by adding another factor which the Board of Commissioners may <br />consider in determining whether or not to approve an amen ed <br />phasing plan for a subdivision. The new provision would allow <br />approval of an amended phasing plan if the time available to <br />install improvements (roads, etc.) was not extended. <br />THERE WERE NO COMMENTS OR QUESTIONS FROM THE BOARD OF <br />COMMISSIONERS, THE PLANNING BOARD OR CITIZENS. <br />Commissioner Gordon asked if the Four Birch Subdivision would <br />have been approved with this proposed amendment. Scearbo indicated <br />that this amendment would have made a stronger case for them, <br />
