J <br />T <br />Commissioners have received copies of the study <br />and wish to comment. <br />d. Noise Problem - Eddleman <br />Planning Board member Dan Eddleman expressed <br />concern with a motion detector alarm at a <br />commercial operation on NC 54 near his home. He <br />noted that, on the weekend of October 12 -14, the <br />alarm was almost constantly being activated, but <br />no one was available to turn it off. He <br />indicated he contacted the Sheriff's Department <br />and a Deputy informed him that they were unable <br />to do anything since Orange County does not have <br />a noise ordinance. Collins responded that Orange <br />County does have a Noise Ordinance but that alarm <br />systems may be exempt.
