MCDUFFIE AND NATHAN MoDUFFIE <br />Route 2, Box 121 -B -1 <br />Apex, NC 27502 <br />Location: West side of Buckhorn Road just to the north of Mt. <br />Willing Road <br />Township: Cheeks <br />Tax Map: 3.54..16 <br />Zoning District: Agricultural Residential (AR) <br />Violations: Outside storage of an estimated 15 junked motor <br />vehicles, an unoccupied mobile home, automotive <br />parts, batteries, motors, junked white appliances, <br />building materials, trash and tires. <br />Accumulated Civil Penalties as of January 23, 1991: $15,800 <br />Comments: The McDuffies were given extensions on two occasions <br />by the Board of Commissioners until November 29, 1990, <br />and until January 17, 1991, respectively, to bring <br />their property into compliance. During each extension <br />there were 2 -3 initial weeks of inactivity followed by <br />a 3 -4 day flurry of activity in an attempt to meet the <br />extension deadlines set by the Board. As of January <br />23, 1991, much work remains to be accomplished to <br />correct zoning violations. Little or no progress has <br />been made during January 1991. <br />
