Two property <br />owners - -Lori B. and Nathan McDuffie and Gayle and <br />Chris McMillan -- were given second extensions until <br />January 17, 1991 to bring their properties into <br />compliance. Both the McDuffies and McMillans have <br />been contacted personally and by telephone, <br />respectively. Both made assurances that their <br />properties would be brought into compliance by January <br />17. As of January 23, 1991, in both cases, little or <br />no perceivable additional progress to correct <br />violations was observed. <br />Civil penalties have been assessed by the Planning and <br />Inspections Department for ongoing violations of the <br />Zoning Ordinance by Christy B. Merritt and Albert E. <br />Davis, and Carl Swanson. <br />The ordinance provides that the duty to make written <br />demand for payment of civil penalties upon persons <br />responsible for violatins lies with the Board of <br />County Commissioners. <br />RECOMMENDATION: The Administration recommends that the Board of County <br />Commissioners take the following actions: <br />
