3 <br />WHEREAS, Orange Rural Fire Department No. 1, Inc. is not <br />able to pay for this fire truck entirely wwth funds on hand; and <br />WHEREAS, Orange Rural Fire Department No. 1, Inc. is able to <br />borrow.funds to complete the purchase of this truck -at a <br />favorable interest rate if the loan is approved by the unit of <br />local government with which the fire department contracts to <br />provide fire protection; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners.desires to <br />approve a financing contract between Orange Rural Fire Department <br />No. 1, Inc. and Central Carolina Bank; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County <br />Commissioners of the County of Orange that the financing contract <br />between Orange Rural Fire Department No. 1, Inc. and Central <br />Carolina Bank is approved. <br />Commissioner <br />resolution and Commissioner <br />moved the passage of the foregoing <br />seconded the motion, and <br />the resolution was passed by the following vote: <br />Ayes: <br />Noes: <br />
