The purpose is to ensure that erosion control is considered and incorporated into the site design during the early stages of planning the development and not left as an afterthought. A plan can be denied when erosion control standards cannot be met because of a conflict with the site design. This paragraph will be inserted in the text and the letters of the following paragraphs adjusted.
