4 <br />At its October 15, 1990 meeting, the Planning Board <br />considered the feasibility study. In addition to the <br />Staff comments, the Planning Board recommended that <br />additional concerns be expressed to NCDOT. Their <br />comments are provided as part of this abstract. <br />At its December 18, 1990 meeting, the Board of <br />Commissioners considered the Planning Staff and <br />Planning Board comments, and decided that a public <br />hearing should be held on the feasibility study at <br />this meeting. At the request of the Board, <br />representatives of the Towns of Chapel Hill and <br />Carrboro as well as OWASA have been invited to <br />comment on the study. NCDOT officials have also been <br />asked to attend and present the study findings. <br />RECOIMNDATION: The Administration recommends that this matter <br />be referred to the Planning Board for a <br />recommendation to be returned to the Board of <br />Commissioners no sooner than March 4, 1991. <br />
