Program requesting UMTA <br />Section 18 funds for capital assistance only for FY 1991 -92. <br />The C01ni" feted a.pplicatiar: and the County Cr,mrtissianer Board <br />Resolution is at.tacl,e.; fox- your consideration, <br />A total of 5225,120 is rec4uested., representing $135,072 <br />federal funds, $45,024 in state funds and $45.024 in local <br />match funds. The funds will be used to purchase three <br />standard. 14 passenger vans, one 14- passenger van with lift, <br />one 24-- passanger bus, two center aisle vans, two minivans <br />and five mobile radios. The vehicles will be used to replace <br />and expand existing C.A.T. equipn-ient which is part <br />Orange County Coordinated Agency Transportation (C.A.T.) of the <br />Program. <br />The C.A.T. Program is a human service transportation system, <br />but Provides general public accessibility on a seat available <br />basis on its fixed route <br />tickets. system with the purchase of CAT <br />This project is consistent with the TIP and with <br />the Orange County Transportation Development Plan (TDp) <br />update which was approved by the County Commissioners on <br />January 22, 1991.
