Fikes <br />TELEPHONE NUMBER - <br />Hillsborough - 732 -8181 <br />Chapel Hill - 968 -4501 <br />Mebane - 227 -2031 <br />Durham - 688 -7331 <br />PURPOSE: To approve execution of an Employment Agreement with the <br />Orange Community Housing Corporation and its new Executive <br />Director. <br />BACKGROUND: On October 16, 1990, the Board of Commissioners approved <br />the inclusion of one staff member of the Orange Community <br />Housing Corporation to the County's benefit plan for at <br />least one year. <br />The attached Employment Agreement facilitates this process <br />by the contractual appointment of the newly appointed <br />Executive Director as an employee of the Corporation and <br />the County. <br />The County Attorney has approved this document. <br />RECOMMENDATION(S): <br />Approve execution of an employment agreement with the <br />Orange Community Housing Corporation and its new Executive <br />Director and authorize the Chair to sign the document on <br />behalf of the Board. <br />
