Registered security dogs are not included in the <br />definition while on the owners property. s <br />North Carolina State law requires that all animal bites be <br />reported within a 24 hour period. <br />When an Animal Control officer receives a report of an <br />animal bite inflicted on a human, he /she will <br />animal for a 10 day period for rabies observation. Thee the <br />quarantine site is dependent upon the animals rabies <br />vaccination status, the owner's <br />the confinement area. the control history and <br />rabies observation are quarantinedlat4home, animals held for <br />of <br />some extent, the County Shelter.
